Participants will make a book that is bound with stitches that look like caterpillars. Truly! The complex looking stitch pattern provides an eye-catching accent. No prior experience is necessary. All tools and materials will be supplied. Please bring note taking supplies.
Suzan Lee is a local bookbinding instructor who learned her bookbinding skills at the Center for Book Arts in New York. She is affiliated with the local chapter of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG). She has been teaching bookbinding for over 10 years. Her interest in bookbinding started with her fascination with the wide range of materials and structures involved in binding books.
