Queering Selfies • Thursday, December 7 at 5 pm

in Vancouver on the ground floor of The Beacon Hotel (near Pigeon Park and the Survivors’ Totem Pole, near the Army & Navy)

Learn to use a 3d printer + block printing
Take selfies.
Carve lino blocks.
Combine 3d printing + letterpress to make semiphotographic images.

Open to queer, questioning, bisexual, lesbian, gay, trans*, two-spirit, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, intersex, asexual, & pansexual youth aged 15-30 .

Optional: bring a low-res selfie, smart phone, or camera. None are required! Webcams and materials are provided. Let us know if you plan to come by emailing cara@wepress.ca or calling 604-670-3424 or just drop-in. Attend as many or as few as you please.

The workshops will take place certain wednesdays and thursdays and are totally free. Snacks are provided.

The next workshop is Thursday, Dec 14, 5 to 8 pm at WePress Community Art Space , 9 West Hastings Street. There might be more in the new year – stay tuned for news!
