​Learn to make a tacket bound book using an historical technique that results in “thread coils” or sometimes described as “sausages.” It’s a clever decorative element! No prior experience necessary. All tools and materials are supplied. All materials are vegan.

Suzan Lee is a local bookbinding instructor who learned her bookbinding skills at the Center for Book Arts in New York. She is affiliated with the local chapter of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG). She has been teaching bookbinding for over 10 years. Her interest in bookbinding started with her fascination with the wide range of materials and structures involved in binding books.
